FAQ

Here you will find answers to some frequently asked questions about services, pricing, and nail art. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out via email, by clicking below!

Do you remove product/ work over product that has been applied elsewhere?

I do not remove any product that has not been applied by me. Unfortunately, more often than not, a client will come in with product they had applied at another nail salon, that they were told was "gel, like Shellac", but, ends up being a hard gel or acrylic- Both of which are difficult and time consuming to remove.

What are the benefits of a dry manicure?

A dry manicure is the number one way to ensure your gel manicure does not end up lifting and peeling. Our nails are porous, and when they are soaked in water the nail plate absorbs that water, which then causes the nail plate to expand. If gel product is put on a nail with an expanded nail plate, once that nail plate "dries out" and shrinks back, the gel will immediately start lifting and peeling due to the contracting of the nail plate.

What should I do if I want nail art, but, I am unsure of how much time to book?

If you have nail art ideas, send them my way! I always encourage clients to either text pictures, or DM me on Instagram any nail inspo photos they have- that way I can decided if the nail art is some thing I can do, and I can also recommend the amount of time that should be booked.
